his August, Cosain Consultancy and Insurance for Journalists are offering freelance journalists, photographers and documentary filmmakers free access to two three-day Hostile Environment and First Aid Training (HEFAT) courses in the United Kingdom.
The courses will take place on Sunday 21st to Tuesday 23rd August and Wednesday 24th to Friday 26 August and will pay particular attention to covering the war in Ukraine. Selected participants will receive a free first aid kit on completion .
The courses will be taught in English
All course and teaching costs are provided free of charge.
Selected participants will need to cover the costs of travel, accommodation (£50 per night per room) and meals at the course venue - a hotel and spa located 20 minutes from Birmingham International airport.
The venue has internet and on-site parking.
